Long tail keywords pros and cons

What is Long tail keywords? What is the advantages and disadvantages of Long tail keywords or mid-length keywords? As words says, long tail keywords are longer and more specific keywords that helps search engine to index the right result based on visitor’s search accordingly.

There are main four different section works on this. One is, Advertiser’s choice for the subject long tail keyword, the second one is, similar keywords and content availability online from Publisher’s article, and the third one is AdWord or similar Adv company campaign for it on exact time, and the fourth and final one is, search engine indexing the long tail keywords per visitor’s search.

Long tail keywords advantages

The long tail keywords are little tough in the beginning to get the traffic and benefit for all, as time goes then the same keywords are going to give an added advantage to all as a valuable even though it is with less search compare to other keywords as about to come the topic. This one can even work against mid-length keywords and general single keyword search result etc. very soon.

For example, if an Advertiser (who is like a startup) is selling a product of ‘Washing Powder’ then the chances are very less to show Advertiser’s ad on Publisher’s webpage near the top of as an organic search result on ‘Washing Powder’, it is just because of too much competition already exists for this one. So, Advertiser can use it ‘cheap and best washing powder from xyz’ or other similar style to get the search result as specific one.

If an Advertiser agrees only for a long tail keywords from AdWord or similar source for sale conversion then they are going to get benefit on charging for specific keywords result and its sale only, the other shorten keywords though might help them out to get the customer which is another advantage from this.

Long tail keywords disadvantage

The only disadvantage from long tail keywords are that they may index them in search result with little delay even after campaign started. Mostly, both of them shall benefit for a long term.
